Shadow Legacy
Lucas Cottrell is a cop and an undercover agent
and a few other things not quite as honorable,
but he sure as hell isn’t the kind of guy who’d
ever go back home for his high school reunion. Sometimes
things change.
And some don’t—like old wounds, old enemies and
memories of childhood sweethearts. Or do they?
After fifteen years, Hunter Valley is everything Lucas
expected it to be, and nothing he bargained for.

Unholy Penance
Evan Cain is a writer—and a vampire. But he has a darker secret, and an even darker mission. When young girls start turning up dead and drained of their blood in Carson Grove, Investigator Kaci Robinson is the only one who begins to suspect that he’s not who or what he pretends to be. Even five hundred years of immortality hasn’t prepared him for what that means. The boundaries between past and present blur as Evan struggles to keep a centuries-old promise at the expense of losing the woman he loves and has loved.
My Inspiration
Unholy Penance was inspired by songs from the Type O Negative album Bloody Kisses written by lead singer Peter Steele. My sons introduced me to his music and I fell in love with it. The book started out on an entirely different track until I discovered his lyrics. He was incredible.

Peter Steele is dead.
My poor, sweet Peter Steele is gone. Yes, I was hung up on his beauty and the genius of his music. I'm glad I got to meet him and in my puny way to honor him with a story inspired by him.
